Sausage Egg Muffins

I love egg muffins!  They are so easy to make and so convenient to store to have them on hand for breakfasts on-the -go.  I also love how they are already perfectly portioned out.  I eat a lot of eggs so just 1 muffin wouldn’t cut it for me.  I eat 2, and it’s perfect!  Don’t like an ingredient in these muffins?  No problem, just sub it with something else!  Bacon, ham, peppers, olives, spinach, artichoke hearts, green onion, really the list can go on forever.   Continue reading

Fresh Squeezed Orange Juice with KitchenAid Citrus Juicer Attachment

IMG_2977

There’s nothing like a glass of fresh squeezed orange juice, especially when you actually picked the oranges off of an orange tree, instead of placing them in a plastic baggie and weighing them at the grocery store.  My husband drinks orange juice like kids drink milk.  Kids drink milk, right?  I did, like it was going out of style.  I drank so much milk when I was younger, I was given the nickname “Milk-Bucket” from my dad.  I actually never drink milk anymore…funny. Mediterranean Egg White Omelette

DSC_0179

I enjoyed this omelette yesterday morning, which was such a good start to my great day!  I love egg white omelettes.  Fired egg whites are just the best.  But seriously,  I had such a great day yesterday.  Even though I was a little tired and hungover it was still a great day.  I mean seriously, who gets hungover from 2 beers?  2 beers!  Apparently, I do.  But I figured out what is was.  I had 2 IPA’s, which I later find out that the alcohol content Continue reading

Maple Banana Protein-Fueled Smoothie

This protein-fueled smoothie is a perfect breakfast on-the-go option!  I wish this picture of it was a little more attractive but I seriously was rushing, running out the door for work which didn’t leave me anytime to get creative with a photo. I promise it’s delicious, filling, light, and satisfying!  Isn’t anything with peanut butter delicious?  Yep, pretty much. The Irresistible Blueberry Bakeshop & Cafe: Mary Simses’s Irresistible Blueberry Muffins

Blueberry Muffins

The cover of The Irresistible Blueberry Bakeshop & Cafe by Mary Simses is why I wanted to read this book.  It’s a gorgeous cover.  Then I scanned through the pages and saw a recipe at the end of the book, so I just couldn’t resist.  I had just finished reading The Coincidence Of Coconut Cake which had a delicious recipe at the end also!  Find my blog post and the recipe here.  I’m a sucker for romance books and I love food, so I’m excited when I come across a book that has both to offer!   Continue reading

Fried Egg White Breakfast Quesadilla

Happy Hump Day!  You guys, I finally went through and organized all my photos from April 2015 to December 2015 and got them developed!  I should be getting them in the next few days.  Then I need to add them to my photo album, because I’m old school like that.  January and February are my months to do these little things that I’ve been wanting to do, but never made the time to do.  These months are slow with not much going on, so it’s perfect.
